My degree show piece discusses the moral ambiguity of how post-colonial social politics existed within my body.  Facing between innocence born out of childhood, oppression, trauma, and the “whitening” of my adolescence, the piece was made to acknowledge but not comply with the imprint of political trauma— an escape from the predetermined “victim” narrative, a manifestation of the lived experience that exist inside and outside.
